How does pre-subscription work?

What is pre-subscription?

It's a new, fairer way to invest that lets you register your interest in a loan before it opens to everyone. The goal is to eliminate the "fastest finger first" stress at 11 AM.

How does the allocation work?

The system is simple and designed to be fair:

  • Everyone who pre-subscribes is guaranteed a minimum allocation (typically NOK 1,000).
  • The rest of the loan amount is distributed proportionally (pro rata) based on your desired investment amount.

What happens if the loan is oversubscribed?

You will receive a proportional share of the amount you wished to invest.

  • Example: A loan is for NOK 5 million, but the total pre-subscription amount is NOK 10 million. In this case, everyone receives 50% of their desired amount. If you wanted to invest NOK 100,000, you would be allocated NOK 50,000.

What happens if the loan is not fully subscribed during the pre-subscription period?

You will be allocated the full amount you pre-subscribed for. The remaining amount of the loan will then become available for regular investment.

Can I cancel a pre-subscription?

Yes, the standard rules apply. You can cancel your subscription within 96 hours (four days) of making your first subscription in the loan.
